Dear California CMD Community!
Cure CMD has been accepted as a charity partner for the 2018 Los Angeles Marathon on March 18th. The course runs from Dodger Stadium to Santa Monica, has been named "Best Big City Race" by Runner's World and is a world-class event.
As a charity partner, we register runners for the Marathon, the Charity Challenge (half-marathon, pending space) or the 5K, as well as qualified wheelchair athletes for the Marathon and regular wheelchair riders (motorized/manual) for the 5K. Team Cure CMD is currently recruiting runners and wheelchair participants as well as volunteers and sponsors. The LA Marathon is a great opportunity for the CMD Community to raise funds and awareness and grow the circle of champions supporting the quest to find a treatment or cure for the CMDs.
